Transfer Method/Noise Reduction:

Fons CQ 30 turntable, Sumiko MMT tonearm, Shure M44-7 Cartridge 3.2 truncated connical stylus, Highphonic step-up transformer used in referse, McCormack Micro Phono Drive through tape loop on Anthem Integrated 2 to Alesis Masterlink (a stand alone cd-harddisk recorder).  Files recorded at 20/88

Digital Signal Processing on Alesis:  3 band Parametric Equalizer & Normalization

EQ1    Freq=12khz Level= -18 Q= 6 to reduce high frequency noise
EQ2    Freq=8khz Level= -18 Q= 4 to reduce high frequency noise
EQ3    Freq=50hz Level= -18 Q= 4 -- to reduce rumble

AIF Files moved to PC for further noise reduction using Click Repair:
De-click =26; De-crackle = 20; Manual retouch on a few tracks, stereo to mono mix

CD-24 burned on PC, loaded back onto Alesis, Normaziation performed again to compensate for mono mix  and CD burned.   These files were then ripped via EAC and compressed 224k mp3 files via Lame encoder.
